We are seeking a highly skilled Facets Subject Matter Expert (SME) that can provide expert-level support and This role focuses The SME partners with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, document design, troubleshoot defects, and ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Facets SME providing end-to-end functional and technical guidance (operational and DLPs).
  • Own analysis and Create and maintain clear documentation: workflows, functional specs, technical design inputs, configuration workbooks, interface mapping documents, and operational runbooks.
  • Provide oversight and strategic thinking to ensure solutions are comprehensive, efficient, and do not negatively impact the current operating environment.
Qualifications 10+ years of recent Facets experience with all subsystems including claims, membership, authorizations and workflow. 5+ years in a senior/lead SME role. Hands-on experience supporting Facets Billing and premium/AR-related processes (e.g., billing setup, invoices, payment posting, reconciliation) as applicable to the organization's model. Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear specifications and solution designs; strong documentation skills. Experience with querying and analyzing Facets data using SQL or comparable backend tools; understands data model and table dependencies. Experience working across multiple application groups and integrated ecosystems (e.g., portals, CRM, finance systems, data warehouses, reporting, and EDI translators). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process improvement skills; comfortable working complex issues across teams. Candidate Characteristics Clear communicator who can explain complex membership/billing/EDI topics to both business and technical audiences. Proactive, organized, and accountable; able to manage multiple priorities and meet delivery dates. Strong attention to detail and comfort working with effective dating, retroactivity, and reconciliation concepts. Collaborative and willing to escalate risks/issues appropriately to drive timely resolution. Comfortable working in a remote environment with high responsiveness and follow-through. Provides expert Facets application knowledge and workflow support that is global for a business area rather than being single process focused. These applications support core business processes such as claims adjudication, membership enrollment, financial processing, etc. Ability to step in as needed due to project issues or for overall assessments. Experience providing oversight and strategic thinking skills to ensure that comprehensive and efficient solutions are being developed and implemented without negatively impacting the current operating environment and systems.
