$23.50•$30.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Analyst I•Warranty to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. This role is responsible for evaluating returned parts, supporting warranty claim investigations, and collaborating with Engineering and cross-functional teams to determine root causes and final disposition of warranty claims. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities Evaluate returned parts and document findings to support warranty validation and root-cause analysis. Prepare detailed reports for Engineering to support claim investigations and disposition decisions. Maintain accurate records of customer returns and warranty claims. Ensure returned parts are properly received, logged, evaluated, and routed for engineering review. Support Engineering throughout the warranty evaluation process by providing timely data and assessment results. Collaborate with Receiving, Accounting, Customer Care, Warranty Administration, and Engineering to facilitate claim processing and resolution. Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding warranty claims and status updates. Support payment, credit, and recovery activities associated with warranty claims. Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance warranty processes, reporting accuracy, and overall quality performance. Assist in maintaining claim throughput within customer-defined timelines. Qualifications Required Minimum of 6 years of experience in parts evaluation, data processing, reporting, or related analytical work, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices. Preferred Experience with warranty administration and quality systems. General accounting experience. Familiarity with Salesforce and SAP. Experience with Minitab and Microsoft Access. Understanding of the 8D problem-solving methodology. Experience supporting engineering investigations and root-cause analysis. Why Join Us?
