Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Digital Systems Analyst - Manufacturing with strong manufacturing systems and SQL expertise to support a large-scale system transformation initiative. This role will be heavily involved in modernizing shop floor and operational systems, including MES, LIMS, QMS, and other digital manufacturing platforms within a make-to-order environment. This individual will act as a key bridge between manufacturing operations and IT, working hands-on with production, warehouse, and enterprise data systems to drive process improvements, troubleshoot data issues, and support system integrations. Key Responsibilities Partner with shop floor, warehouse, and operations teams to gather and translate manufacturing requirements into technical solutions Support MES and digital manufacturing system implementations and enhancements across production environments Use SQL and relational databases to: Investigate data issues Trace data flows across systems (MES, ERP, reporting tools) Troubleshoot reporting failures (e.g., Power BI dashboards, system integrations) Perform root cause analysis on system and data issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve Map current-state manufacturing processes to future-state digital solutions within Industry 4.0 initiatives Support and maintain legacy manufacturing systems while transitioning to modern platforms Assist with system configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support for manufacturing applications Collaborate with IT and business teams across North America to ensure data accuracy and system reliability Must-Have Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical Analyst in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience working with manufacturing systems (MES highly preferred) Strong experience with SQL / relational databases (writing queries, troubleshooting data issues, validating data flows) Experience supporting shop floor or warehouse operations systems Proven ability to debug technical/data issues across multiple systems (e.g., dashboards, integrations, data pipelines) Strong problem-solving skills with a root cause and solution-oriented mindset Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and IT teams Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting or implementing MES, LIMS, QMS, or similar manufacturing platforms Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred), especially in manufacturing environments Background in Industry 4.0 / digital transformation initiatives Experience supporting reporting tools (Power BI or similar) tied to manufacturing data Certifications such as CSPO, CSM, CBAP, or PMP
