We are seeking aa experienced Test Engineer to support programs involving the development, integration, testing, and lifecycle management of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The selected candidate will play a key role in enforcing configuration management controls, supporting technical documentation in accordance with existing standards.Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain configuration management processes in accordance with internal standards, including baseline control, change management, and vendor communication. Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation according to existing technical data package guidelines. Support developmental and operational test and evaluation activities, including test planning, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Assist in program planning and execution by coordinating schedules, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with contract and program objectives. Track and report program risks, action items, and configuration changes; provide status updates to program leadership and government stakeholders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, logisticians, technicians, and program management teams to ensure mission success within established timelines. Support process improvement initiatives aligned with existing processes.Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, aviation, or a related technical field. Experience with configuration management principles and tools within a DoD or defense contractor environment. Strong attention to detail and experience producing and maintaining controlled technical documentation. Familiarity with UAS platforms, systems integration, or aerospace/defense systems. Strong data analysis ability, and competence with MATLAB. Ability to manage multiple priorities and good interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other project management programs (i.e. Smartsheet)Desired:
Experience supporting DoD Prototyping and Development programs. Experience with version control and configuration tools (e.g., Git, Windchill, or similar). Active or eligible for a DoD security clearance.What You Can Expect:
