Configuration Manager [$149k/yr+]
TS/SCI-FS
Poly Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
  • Administer and manage complex configuration management systems throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee version control, build, staging, testing, and integration activities.
  • Implement robust change control processes and leverage automated Configuration Management (CM) tools.
  • Work effectively within Agile/Scrum methodologies to support project delivery.
  • Contribute to technical writing and communication efforts related to CM processes.
Qualifications & Compensation:
    Degree:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Years of experience: 6+ years
    Salary:
    $149k+ yearly compensation
    Job Description:
    • Administer and maintain Software Configuration Management (SCM) systems, encompassing both traditional approaches and DevOps/Continuous Integration/Delivery methodologies.
    • Implement and manage version control systems, build processes, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
    • Utilize and manage CM tools including Jenkins/Hudson, Git, Maven, and Rational Team Concert.
    • Develop and enforce change control procedures to ensure system integrity and traceability.
    • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including software testing and integration testing.
    • Support software development teams by providing expertise in configuration management best practices.
    • Work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum team environment.
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, utilizing tools such as Confluence and Microsoft Project.
    • Provide clear and concise technical writing for CM processes, procedures, and system changes.
