Configuration Team Member Solvere Technical Group - 3.0 Curtis Bay, MD Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Mid-level 3 years Communication skills Full Job Description We are seeking a Configuration Team Member for the US Coast Guard's Surface Acquisitions Logistics Center (SALC). The purpose of this work is to provide detailed and technically correct configuration for US Coast Guard acquisition projects - specifically the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) in accordance with USCG procedures, processes, and specifications
Responsibilities:
Track all design changes from the shipbuilder and ensure logistics products are updated in accordance with contract requirements Update and maintain configuration item functional descriptions (CFID) utilizing U.S. Coast Guard tools and applications for all hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) and Electronics (ELEX) systems. Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities with configuration data. Supports the Quality Assurance process audits.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3-5 years of experience working in Configuration Management with new acquisitions. Configuration Maintenance Manager (CDM) Certification Configuration Data Maintenance Manager (CDMM) Certification Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualification:
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with COGNOS, Fleet Logistics Systems (FLS), and USCG configuration management policy Ability to work collaboratively with the Government client and project team functional areas in support of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities Ability to obtain security clearance, as required by contract
