Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, SQL programming, and healthcare data environments. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing complex data extraction, analysis, report generation, and dashboard development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and custom reports in complex IT environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Minimum 2 years of experience translating business requirements into effective data visualizations and reporting solutions.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting databases.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience designing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and analytical reports.
- 4+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
- 4+ years of experience developing advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
- Experience in healthcare, health insurance marketplaces, Medicaid, or Health and Human Services environments.
- Knowledge of EDI transaction sets including 834, 820, and 999.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Qualified Health Plan (QHP) eligibility rules.
- Experience with EDI 834 enrollment transactions, including adds, terminations, cancellations, and life-event processing.
- Experience with Python, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of data flows, system integrations, data quality, and report automation. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex operational, executive, and regulatory reports.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, data extracts, and reporting solutions using PostgreSQL and other databases.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions.
- Perform data analysis to support management decisions, policy development, and operational improvements.
- Evaluate data quality, troubleshoot data issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with business, technical, testing, and operations teams to resolve reporting and data issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data accessibility.
- Support Medicaid and healthcare-related reporting, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Perform root-cause analysis of system and transaction errors and recommend solutions.
- Validate and reconcile EDI transactions, including enrollment and eligibility data.
- Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and reporting standards.
- Ensure compliance with security, change management, and project governance policies. Technical Skills
