Job Description:
Sr. Software Configuration Analyst (ADMS) Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the energy industry, is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Configuration Analyst for their Jackson, MI location. This Sr. Software Configuration Analyst will be responsible for the design, documentation, configuration, testing, implementing, and managing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software products, like the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). The Sr. Software Configuration Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure software functionality aligns with organizational needs. In addition, this Sr. Software Configuration Analyst will possess 4+ years of experience in application support and testing with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This Sr. Software Configuration Analyst will enjoy working on an Agile team with high attention to detail. What the right candidate will enjoy :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferre d)4+ years of experience in software configuration, development, testing, system admin., and maintenan ceStrong interpersonal skills and written/oral communications skil lsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skil ls Responsibilities of the right candidat e: Configure, customize, implement, and support Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and alignment with business requiremen ts.

Perform ongoing system administration, maintenance, testing, and optimization to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient platform performance while working within vendor and technical constrain ts.

Collaborate with software vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve platform issues, support product operations, and maintain service levels for mission-critical applicatio ns.

Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning and execution, while supporting enhancements and operational needs for the ADMS product backl og.

Provide production support through a 24×7 on-call rotation (every 4-6 weeks) to ensure system availability and rapid issue resoluti on.
