The company is currently seeking an IT Co-Op/Intern. Responsibilities Position Summary/ Primary PurposeAre you looking for an Information Technology internship that will give you valuable hands-on experience? Our Co-op/ Internship program at Daifuku will combine your education with practical experience on the job. We are currently looking for bright and talented college level students who are interested in bringing their passion to life and to be part of our future as a global material handling systems world leader. Major Areas of ResponsibilityProvide support and basic trouble shooting for current operationsInvestigate, gather and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasksIdentify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideasImplement new manufacturing processes and technologyContribute to the success of the team by taking on additional responsibilities and completing tasks as assignedKnowledgeProficiency with all Microsoft Office products Qualifications Skills & AbilitiesExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal skills with focus on teamworkStrong organizational skills and written communication skillsAvailability to work 24-40 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Friday, ongoing (not seasonal)Self-managed, hard-working, great attitude, ready to learnEducation & ExperienceActively enrolled in and pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalentDemonstrated Physical AbilitiesRemain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
