Data/Systems Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data/Systems Analyst to support requirements analysis, system design, data integration, and application development initiatives within an enterprise technology environment. This role will focus on systems analysis, Oracle database development support, Agile collaboration, and data solution delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, PL/SQL expertise, systems analysis experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile and scaled Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Perform technical and functional analysis to support application development, data integration, and modernization initiatives. Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Support high-level design, development, and analysis activities for Oracle database and enterprise data solutions. Conduct systems analysis using PL/SQL, SQL, data mapping, and data analysis methodologies. Collaborate with Agile teams, business stakeholders, product owners, and technology partners to deliver scalable solutions. Lead backlog refinement sessions and support Agile planning and estimation activities. Translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical documentation. Perform data mapping, gap analysis, use case development, and product documentation activities. Support production support activities, issue resolution, and application troubleshooting. Assist with unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, and production validation activities. Develop and maintain technical documentation, status reporting, and user documentation. Collaborate across multiple Agile teams to manage dependencies and solution alignment. Evaluate existing systems for functionality, performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency. Research and evaluate alternative technical and business solutions. Support DevOps, CI/CD, and operational monitoring initiatives where applicable. Participate in on-call support and high-level application support activities as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst within software application development environments. Strong experience performing analysis using PL/SQL and SQL. Experience with systems analysis methodologies including data analysis, data mapping, use case development, story writing, and gap analysis. Experience working within Agile and Scrum development methodologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. Ability to translate business processes and objectives into well-defined requirements and user stories. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills within matrixed environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast-paced environments. Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting technical issues. Strong understanding of relational database concepts and analysis techniques. Ability to make timely decisions and work through ambiguous situations effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Java, Spring Framework, AWS cloud applications, and

REST/SOAP

web services. Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Splunk, and Datadog. Experience creating ad-hoc PL/SQL reports independently. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field. Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile or Scaled Agile environments.
