Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a V&V Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer with the FAA at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. The Software Integration & Test Engineer supports system-level software integration within a laboratory environment. This role executes requirement-driven manual and automated integration testing, supports software loading and lab operations, and performs troubleshooting across distributed software components and pub/sub architectures. The position requires hands-on engagement with live systems, gray-box analysis of production code, and development of integration support tools in a configuration-controlled environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the Operational Test & Evolution (OT&E) of NAS Terminal Automation Systems used by personnel at
FAA ARTCC, TRACON, ATCT
& DoD facilities; Follow Test Processes/Best Practices; Develop/Review Test Procedures, System Docs; Assist in identifying, analyzing, coordinating, resolving & reporting the resolution of implementation issues generated by projects.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree (eg Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Info Sys/Technology, Engineering, Business Admin, Finance, or related/relevant discipline) or 5 years relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor's degree. Previous experience in testing NAS automation systems; SW Development, LAN Debug/Testing; Reviewing, analyzing system/program requirements, identifying program risks/issues and mitigation strategies; develop test approach & schedules; developing/peer reviewing Test Plans/Reports, TEMPs; familiar w/ AT concepts and FAA Test & Evaluation Processes a plus. Team Orientation Ability to communicate technical information orally and/or in writing for a wide audience. At Veracity, we want our employees to excel and grow professionally.
