Our client is a well-established global investment manager with a long track record in active fixed income and equity investing. The firm manages a diverse set of strategies across public and private markets, with a strong reputation for fundamental research and disciplined risk management. Its collaborative culture emphasizes deep sector expertise, long-term thinking, and a commitment to delivering consistent results for institutional and intermediary clients worldwide.
The Role:
We are seeking to add an experienced Credit Research Analyst to a large, well-resourced credit platform. This individual will focus on corporate issuers within the Technology sector and will be an integral member of a global research team, working closely with portfolio managers and other investment professionals across a range of fixed income strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth fundamental analysis at the company, industry, and regional levels within the Technology sector Identify investment opportunities across primary and secondary markets and provide actionable recommendations across multiple mandates (including investment grade, high yield, leveraged loans, and opportunistic credit strategies) Produce well-supported investment theses backed by detailed research and financial analysis Develop and maintain robust financial models for issuers and industries under coverage Engage with company management teams, external research providers, legal advisors, restructuring specialists, and financial sponsors Review and analyze credit documentation, including loan agreements, amendments, and covenant packages
Qualifications:
Approximately 8+ years of experience in credit research, preferably on the buy-side Demonstrated ability to analyze credits across the capital structure, including investment grade, high yield, and loans Strong analytical skillset combining both quantitative and qualitative approaches Proven investment judgment and ability to generate differentiated ideas Bachelor's degree required Advanced credentials (e.g., MBA, CFA) considered a plus but not required
