Overview:

This is not a back-office IT role. You will be directly involved in floor operations, system optimization, and future-state WMS implementation. You will act as the bridge between operations and technology, ensuring efficiency across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while helping drive a major WMS transformation initiative.

!! 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in a distribution center environment Proven experience working with warehouse automation / WCS systems Direct experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Experience with systems such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump/Körber, or similar Ability to work FULLY onsite in Youngstown / Boardman, OH

Duties:

Analyze and optimize current WMS workflows (receiving, put-away, picking, shipping) Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements for peak operational periods Partner directly with warehouse leadership to translate operational issues into system solutions Support integration between WMS and automation systems (conveyors, sortation, scanners) Lead involvement in future WMS selection, vendor evaluation, and implementation planning Build and maintain reporting dashboards tied to productivity and inventory accuracy Assist with system migration, data mapping, UAT testing, and end-user training

What specific WMS platforms have you worked with (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump/Körber, etc.)? Have you been directly involved in a WMS implementation or system go-live? If yes, briefly explain your role. Do you have experience working with warehouse automation systems (WCS, conveyors, sortation systems, RF scanners)? Describe your experience optimizing workflows for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping within a warehouse system. Have you worked directly with warehouse operations teams on the floor to troubleshoot or improve system performance? Do you have experience with reporting, dashboards, or data analysis related to inventory accuracy or labor productivity? If yes, what tools? Are you able and willing to work 100% onsite in Youngstown / Boardman, OH? If not, discard your application.
