Job Description

•THIS
IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
• The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving business software systems across the organization. This role works closely with the IT department, business users, and system stakeholders to ensure software platforms are reliable, secure, appropriately controlled, and aligned with business needs. The Systems Analyst will assist with system administration, user access maintenance, reporting, workflow development, ticket management, and support of systems operating in a SOX-controlled environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to follow detailed processes and instructions, and a high level of attention to detail when supporting SOX-related requirements, access controls, documentation, and audit activities. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support business software systems in accordance with internal policies, security standards, and SOX-related requirements. Perform system administrative activities, including configuration updates, user support, and routine system maintenance. Manage and maintain user access, permissions, roles, and security controls within assigned systems. Assist with access reviews, audit requests, evidence gathering, and compliance-related documentation. Develop, maintain, and improve reports, saved searches, dashboards, and other system-generated data outputs. Support workflow development and process automation within business applications. Review, organize, prioritize, and track system-related support tickets. Work with end users to troubleshoot system issues, document requirements, and identify process improvements. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants on system enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution. Maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, workflows, reports, and support procedures. Support testing activities for system changes, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements. Help ensure that system changes follow appropriate change management and approval procedures.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong understanding of user access management, roles, permissions, and security controls. Ability to gather requirements from business users and translate them into system or reporting solutions. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills. Strong organizational skills, particularly when managing SOX-related requirements, audit evidence, access reviews, ticket tracking, and compliance documentation. Ability to follow detailed processes, procedures, and instructions accurately and consistently. Ability to manage multiple priorities and organize support requests effectively. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users. High attention to detail, especially when working with access controls, compliance, and audit-related tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience in systems administration, systems analysis, business applications support, or a similar IT role. General experience supporting enterprise software systems or business applications. Experience developing or maintaining reports, dashboards, workflows, or system automation. Experience with ERP, construction management, contract management, or enterprise business systems. Experience with one or more of the following platforms: SAP, NetSuite, Procore, Ironclad Experience working in a SOX-compliant or audit-controlled environment. Familiarity with change management, access reviews, segregation of duties, and IT general controls. Experience supporting integrations between business systems. Relevant technical certifications, business systems training, or ERP experience are a plus.
