Who You Are:
The Technology Coordinator at Tri County Tech plays a key role in managing and supporting campus-wide technology operations. This position is hands-on, working across various tech domains to ensure the institution's infrastructure and information systems are efficient, reliable, and capable of supporting growth. Responsibilities include system maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with team members to develop creative solutions that enhance both staff and student experiences. Change management is a critical aspect of the role, requiring adaptability and a focus on seamless transitions. With an emphasis on continuous improvement, the Technology Coordinator contributes to an environment where technology supports the educational mission and empowers life-changing learning opportunities. What You'll Possess As a qualified candidate: You'll possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Business/Management Information Systems. You'll possess five years of related work experience providing/supporting IT solutions in a customer-facing role. You'll be knowledgeable in Application support, Cloud based telephony, Network Infrastructure, Security best practices, and distance-learning technologies; skill related industry certifications are preferred. You'll have familiarity with Audio/Visual equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting to include projectors, TVs, wireless mic systems, and audio mixers. You'll possess experience participating in enterprise help desk support. You are detail-oriented and organized. You'll simultaneously work on several tasks related to organizational support/projects and manage them with ease. You're a project planner who meets goals and deadlines. You'll have a superb customer service focused mindset. You'll strive to exceed expectations and communicate effectively. You'll take the initiative, seek out projects, and openly accept other duties as assigned. You continually look for ways to improve your skillset and are always open to receiving feedback. You are a problem solver, when confronted with a challenge, you seek out workable solutions to get the job done. What You'll Do Coordinators oversee major projects and a majority of department functions with accountability and focused oversight. They provide support to leadership by implementing change initiatives efficiently and effectively while flexibly assuming new responsibilities. Coordinators are highly engaged in all aspects of the organization with limited cross-functional responsibilities and are mostly present-focused. They manage multiple projects with self-directed, deadline-driven accountability. Although transactional, Coordinators are high-functioning professionals applying the use of discretion and independent judgment while building problem-solving skills.
Exempt Essential Functions:
Identify and Recommend enterprise technology solutions: analyze the business requirements of all departments/programs to determine effective solutions to technology needs. Assist in the development of long-range plans for Technology Infrastructure. Maintain budget to actual on capital expenditures; Coordinate/facilitate technology ordering Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software, and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning. Manage and respond to work requests in a timely manner. Ensure Hardware and Software Upgrades are up to date. Coordinate technology operations according to established goals. Oncall availability as required for evening class support. Other Job-Related Duties as Assigned by the

Terms of Employment:
Twelve months; salary to be established by the Board of Education.
