Job Description

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt Position Summary The Endpoint System Analyst, Instructional Technology is responsible for managing and maintaining campus computing resources, including computers, peripherals, and mobile devices, while ensuring cybersecurity compliance and providing technical support to the academic community. Essential Job Duties
  • Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets for computer-related issues across campus.
  • Maintain and manage hardware and software inventory systems.
  • Install, maintain, and update security and management software applications.
  • Implement and administer Microsoft InTune Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Apple MDM solutions campus-wide.
  • Train and supervise student workers in technical support roles.
  • Provide computer system quotes and recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee. Omission of specific statement of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • 4+ years of experience in information technology or related field
  • Experience with mobile device management systems
  • Strong background in technical support and help desk operations
  • Experience training and supervising others preferred Licenses/Certifications
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripheral device troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Proficient in implementing and managing enterprise-level software solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate inventory systems and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with mobile device management platforms and deployment strategies
  • Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example
  • Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
