Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Professional Services team. This internship is designed for students interested in applied AI, technical writing, operational efficiency, and enterprise transformation. In this role, you will directly support the build-out of an AI-enabled Professional Services delivery model — helping to design documentation frameworks within Confluence, leverage cutting-edge AI tools to keep product knowledge current and accessible, and move institutional knowledge out of individuals and into structured, AI-consumable standard work. This is a hands-on, project-based role — not research-only or observational. You will contribute to live initiatives that impact how our teams operate and how customers experience our products, while gaining valuable experience at the intersection of technical writing, knowledge management, and AI-assisted workflows.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Design and build structured documentation frameworks in Confluence, including space organization, page templates, and taxonomy standards to support scalable product documentation. Leverage AI tools (such as large language models and AI writing assistants) to draft, update, and refine product documentation efficiently and at scale. Help prepare and validate content — including process flows, templates, FAQs, and examples — for inclusion in AI-enabled knowledge systems, ensuring alignment with approved reference material. Collaborate with teams across Product Development, Customer Care, and Professional Services to gather content requirements and ensure documentation reflects the latest product features and updates. Create clear, user-friendly documentation assets including user guides, onboarding materials, process documentation, and release notes. Work with subject matter experts to understand complex software concepts and translate them into accessible, well-structured documentation for end users and internal stakeholders. Transform qualitative inputs — such as notes, recordings, and informal documentation — into structured, reusable artifacts. Audit and improve existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current product functionality. Contribute to the development of documentation standards, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency across all content. Explore and document prompt engineering strategies and AI workflow patterns that can be reused by the team for ongoing documentation tasks. Assist with reporting and analysis of weekly Professional Services status activities and support day-to-day process improvement and training enablement initiatives.
Qualifications Required:
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Operations, Information Systems, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Curiosity about and comfort with AI tools — willingness to experiment with AI writing assistants, prompt design, and automated documentation workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Self-motivated and proactive, with a genuine interest in learning new tools and improving processes. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
Prior internship, academic, or project experience involving process improvement, documentation, analytics, or technology. Familiarity with Confluence or other knowledge management platforms. Experience with AI, automation, or operational efficiency tools. Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.
Worker Type:
Student (Fixed Term) (Trainee)
