Application Support Specialist Texas Wholesale Grand Prairie, TX Job Details Full-time $28 - $35 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Application Integration Accounting systems EDI ERP systems Warehouse management system E-commerce Issue tracking Customer support ticket management Project management software Systems & applications support Technical troubleshooting support Distribution center POS systems Help desk T-SQL Database software proficiency Full Job Description Position Summary Hands-on application configuration role responsible for supporting and maintaining the business application stack across ERP, WMS, Accounting, EDI, and eCommerce platforms. The specialist serves as the primary point of contact for application issues, configurations, and integrations — partnering with operations, finance, warehouse, and digital commerce teams to keep each system running efficiently. SQL querying is used as a diagnostic tool for troubleshooting configuration issues; this is not a database administration or reporting role. Proficiency with standard IT support tools including ticketing systems, RMM, remote access, and project management platforms is required. Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain ERP system settings including user roles, pricing rules, station setup, workflow parameters, and integrated modules Troubleshoot ERP issues across POS, inventory, purchasing, AR, and reporting; coordinate upgrades and patches with vendor Configure and support WMS workflows for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping; manage user roles and label/form customizations Support accounting platform configuration, user access, integration with ERP, and assist finance with data imports, exports, and reconciliation Monitor EDI transaction queues, resolve errors, coordinate with trading partners and VAN providers, and assist with onboarding new partners Configure and support eCommerce platform settings and storefront; ensure accurate product, pricing, and inventory sync with ERP and WMS Write T-SQL queries to verify configuration settings, identify data inconsistencies, and trace root causes of application issues Manage support requests via ticketing system; use RMM and remote access tools to monitor application health and assist end users Maintain system documentation; manage user accounts and permissions; deliver Tier 2/3 support and training across all supported platforms Qualifications Required 3+ years of hands-on application support or configuration experience across ERP, WMS, or similar business platforms Demonstrated ability to configure ERP systems including user security, pricing, workflows, and peripheral integrations Experience supporting a WMS in a warehouse or distribution environment Experience supporting an accounting application in a business setting Working knowledge of EDI standards and transaction processing with trading partners Experience supporting an eCommerce platform including ERP/WMS integration and order/inventory data management Ability to write SQL queries for configuration troubleshooting and diagnostics (not database administration) Proficiency with IT support tools: ticketing systems, RMM platforms, remote access, and project management applications Strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent support areas Preferred Formal training or certification in one or more supported application platforms Experience with application APIs and multi-system integrations (ERP, WMS, eCommerce, Accounting) Familiarity with EDI mapping tools, VAN providers, and ITIL or structured IT service management practices Knowledge of retail, wholesale, or distribution operations and business processes
