Federal Budget SME (5317)

The mission of the Client Services Delivery team at SMX is to deploy innovative products to our federal customers. The CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend solution ( BAS ) is a planning and reporting solution that has been pre-built for the federal government and runs on SAP Analytics Cloud ( SAC ). We are seeking a Federal Budget Consultant for the implementation of BAS for a Federal customer. Candidates should have familiarity with the Federal planning, programming and budgeting processes and experience with system implementations. This is a full-time position on a multi-year contract that will allow for 100% remote work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Document and communicate budgetary processes of our federal customer with the project team. + Communicate Federal Budget Policies and their impacts to business processes and system requirements with the project team. + Document federal budgeting and execution customer reporting requirements. + Create business requirements documents and functional design documents to support technical development of budgeting and reporting solutions. + Create mockups and visual aides to communicate functional designs internally and to customers. + Develop test plans, test scenarios/cases, and manage testing execution. + Conduct BAS solution demos at all levels of a Federal Agency + Prepare and conduct BAS presentations at all levels of a Federal Agency Required Skills & Experience + Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust. + 5+ years' experience in federal budget related activities within the areas of budget formulation, budget execution, spend plan creation and personnel planning. + Knowledge of budgetary regulations and procedures. + Knowledge of systems integration and reporting. + Expertise in civilian federal budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning experience, along with strong implementation/systems integration experience across multiple ERP systems (Momentum, SAP , Oracle) coupled with knowledge of project management best practices. + Experience with one or more ERP systems used in the federal government like SAP , Oracle or Momentum. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Experience in business process analysis and functional design of financial budgeting & reporting solutions. + Experience with Hyperion/Oracle Planning, OneStream, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, SAP SAC , etc., OR custom-built budgeting solution for a federal customer. + Experience with SA To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
