Global IT Project Management Expert Location:

Philadelphia, PA Long term contract 1. Job Purpose As a vital member of the IT Delivery Transformation Team , you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects within the Contract Logistics sector. Your primary focus will be the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) , Order Management Systems (OMS) , and system integrations across North America. A critical component of this role involves overseeing Blue Yonder Discrete implementations for a high-priority, large-scale account. You will bridge the gap between technical IT teams and business operations to ensure seamless, high-quality solution delivery. 2.

Key Accountabilities Project Management Leadership:

Drive all IT project phases including scoping, content definition, resource planning, and budget management, adhering to global logistics standards.

Blue Yonder Discrete Implementation:

Act as the subject matter expert for the deployment of Discrete solutions and automation, ensuring zero business disruption for a major global customer.

Team Leadership:

Foster a high-performance environment by aligning cross-functional IT teams with project milestones and delivery excellence.

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary IT liaison for business leaders, external vendors, and customers, maintaining proactive and transparent relationships.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

Ensure rigorous System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are completed to maintain high-level solution integrity.

Change Management & Hypercare:

Lead post-implementation monitoring to address enhancements and resolve issues during the critical Hypercare phase. 3. Key Working Relationships Stakeholder Group Nature of Interaction Frequency Contract Logistics Operations Requirements gathering, SIT/UAT feedback, and troubleshooting. Daily Internal Tech Teams (WMS/OMS/TMS) Status reporting, resource coordination, and support handovers. Daily Solution Implementers Documentation follow-ups and technical progress tracking. Daily Delivery Transformation Manager Strategic alignment and escalation management. Weekly Global Transformation Program Sharing best practices and aligning with global PM standards. Weekly 4.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Education & Certifications Essential:

Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or IT; Project Management certification (PMP/PMI or Prince2).

Desirable:

Master s degree; Certifications in Change Management or Leadership. Experience Minimum 5 years in IT Project Management specifically within WMS, OMS, and Integration solutions. Deep Subject Matter Expertise in Blue Yonder Discrete implementations.

Technical Literacy:

Proven experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and data integration technologies.

Scale:

Experience managing large-scale WMS automation projects.

Desirable:

Technical background in configuration/development (e.g., Manhattan WMS).

Specialist & Interpersonal Skills Multitasking:

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Communication:

Elite stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Analytical:

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality; experience in data mapping or automated dashboarding is a plus. 5. Resource Management This role is responsible for the financial oversight of assigned project budgets and the coordination of cross-functional technical human resources. You will be expected to optimize infrastructure usage and ensure IT delivery remains within the predefined budget and timeline constraints. 6.

Based in the Philadelphia area.

Travel/Flexibility:

This is a hybrid role. The balance between remote work and on-site presence at distribution centers or offices will fluctuate based on project lifecycle stages (e.g., higher on-site presence during Go-Live).
