Job Description•
OverviewNational Guardian Life Insurance is seeking an experienced OIPA Configuration Developer to support a greenfield implementation of Oracle Insurance Policy Administration. This role will focus heavily on hands-on configuration, development, and support of OIPA solutions in a policy administration environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and configure OIPA solutionsTranslate business requirements into technical configurationsConfigure products, plans, transactions, business rules, and workflowsDevelop and maintain OIPA rules using XMLCollaborate with BA, QA, and engineering teams across the SDLCSupport enhancements, upgrades, and production issuesParticipate in design sessions, code reviews, testing, and deploymentCreate and maintain technical documentationEnsure adnce to development standards and best practicesRequired Qualifications3+ years of hands-on OIPA development/configuration experienceStrong understanding of OIPA architecture and functionalityExperience with:
Business rules, transactions, products, plans, funds, and workflowsSystem integrations (upstream/downstream)Ability to query and work with SQL dataStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Retirement ServicesExposure to other Oracle Insurance productsAgile/Scrum experienceExperience supporting OIPA implementations or modernization effortsAWS or cloud environment exposureBeacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
