Sparks Group has partnered with a government contractor to find a Senior EVM Analyst. As the Senior EVM Analyst you will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for integrating cost and schedule data using tools like Cobra and Empower, ensuring strict compliance with EIA-748 guidelines, and driving rigorous variance and trend analysis. You will partner closely with various teams to deliver actionable insights, champion process improvements, and provide senior leadership with the accurate data needed to ensure project health and mission success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of applicable EVM experience, proficient in MS Office, MS Project and Cobra and Empower. If you're seeking your next opportunity, apply now!
Responsibilities :
Establish, configure, and maintain integrated EVM systems (Cobra, Empower, MS Project); ensure data integrity across WBS, cost data, and Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs). Perform advanced EVM data, trend, and variance analysis; evaluate schedule critical paths and health metrics, prepare Estimates at Complete (EACs), and deliver monthly summary reports to leadership. Conduct gap analyses against
EIA-748 EVMS 32
guidelines, manage data validity checks on contractor reporting, and support Joint Confidence Level (JCL) analyses and Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). Partner with project scheduling and financial teams to align data inputs; assist teams with control account plans and tool usage. Develop the project's EVM Implementation Plan, document clear process steps/metrics, and provide independent recommendations to optimize EVM control and reporting.
Qualifications/Background Profile :
Minimum of 10 years of applicable EVM experience (to include working in aerospace/research and development Experience working in: Cobra, Empower, MS Office and MS Project Understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles. - This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range:
