Job Description

The Microsoft 365 system analyst
Austin, TX Introduction:
The Systems Analyst 2 will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance for Microsoft 365 services, focusing on user support, troubleshooting connectivity/performance issues, managing security/compliance, and ensuring high availability through proactive monitoring and documentation. This role will require onsite presence in the Austin area 4-5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Provide user support and issue resolution for all M365 services Analyze usage, performance, and audit reports to identify trends and potential problems Manage and maintain M365 security policies and compliance requirements Work with business units to gather requirements and implement solutions that improve productivity Automate solutions using scripting languages like PowerShell Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams
Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience administering M365 environments in a large organization Experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and OneDrive Experience implementing governance and compliance policies in a public sector or regulated environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to create technical documentation and deliver user training
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with SAM tools (e.g., Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow) Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing models Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit processes
