About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver to support and optimize EDI operations while improving data visibility and workflow efficiency across the business. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely electronic transactions with customers and vendors, while also building reporting and automation solutions that enhance day-to-day operations. You'll work cross-functionally with teams like purchasing, sales, warehouse, and accounting to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve overall system performance. If you enjoy working with data, troubleshooting issues, and creating more efficient systems, this role offers a strong mix of technical and operational impact. What You'll Do Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions (including 850s, 856s, 810s, and related documents) to ensure accuracy and timeliness Investigate and resolve discrepancies between EDI data and internal systems Collaborate with trading partners and EDI providers to onboard, test, and maintain integrations Build and maintain automated reports for order status, inventory, fulfillment, and vendor performance Develop and enhance workflows using tools like Excel, Power Query, SQL, or automation platforms Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation and AI-driven tools Document data flows, processes, and system logic to support scalability and consistency Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver practical, data-driven solutions What You Need Experience working with EDI transactions and formats (e.g., 850, 856, 810) Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, data manipulation; Power Query a plus) Working knowledge of databases (SQL or similar) Experience troubleshooting data or system discrepancies Familiarity with automation tools (Power Automate, scripting, or similar) Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience with EDI platforms such as TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, or similar providers Exposure to ERP systems in a distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environment Experience with BI tools like Power BI or similar reporting platforms Familiarity with AI tools that support workflow automation and reporting Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
