Calypso Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Calypso and derivatives trade processing. This role involves analyzing business requirements, supporting financial applications, and delivering solutions for complex trading and collateral management systems. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge in derivatives, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working in fast-paced financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and define business and system requirements for financial applications Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions Provide support for trade processing and collateral management systems Configure and support Calypso applications including CATT tool usage Lead and contribute to projects involving analysts and developers Mentor and guide junior team members Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and Excel Support microservices-based application environments Participate in requirement documentation, testing, and implementation phases

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in business or systems analysis (financial services preferred) 3+ years of hands-on experience with Calypso Strong knowledge of derivatives trade processing and collateral management Deep understanding of derivative products (money market, credit derivatives, futures, options, centrally cleared products) Experience with Calypso configuration and CATT tool Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with SQL, Excel, JIRA, and Postman Understanding of application architecture and microservices Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience leading projects and mentoring team members Familiarity with modern financial technology platforms Experience working in Agile environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
