Subsystems Stress Analyst - F-35

Description:

The successful candidate will be able to perform stress analysis on new and revised designs for routing of wire harnesses, hydraulic tubing, and coolant lines within the F-35 airframe. Responsible for static strength assessment of brackets, clamps, shelves, pressurized tubes, and welded tubes. Evaluation of deflection for routed tubes to guarantee isolation of systems from surrounding structure and other systems. What You Will Be Doing You will work directly with designers to convey requirements and to verify compliant products. You will use classical engineering analysis, automated versions of analytical tools, and Finite Element Analysis using Hypermesh, Nastran, and Patran Basic Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics Experience in Stress Analysis of Subsystems and Routing Experience in developing, running, and working with

Finite Element Models:
