Job Description:
The Configuration Specialist II completes necessary documentation to reflect the change. Responsible for analyzing product design changes to determine the effect on the end-product design and function. Being a Configuration Specialist II reviews released engineering change data to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting. In addition, Configuration Specialist II typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Configuration Specialist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Working as a Configuration Specialist II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
