Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the migration of client s inventory allocation control rules from the legacy ERP system into a new unified Allocation Rules Engine within the WMS. This is a detail-oriented, data-focused role working closely with the client s operations and IT teams to ensure accurate rule translation and validated migration outcomes. Key Responsibilities Analyze legacy ERP allocation rule configurations across 14 source tables and document current-state logic, data patterns, and known anomalies Build and maintain source-to-target mapping documentation, translating legacy entity-pair records into the attribute-based rule structure of the new engine Identify records requiring consolidation grouping multiple legacy rows into single unified rules where business logic allows Flag conflicting, contradictory, or inactive source records for stakeholder review and resolution prior to migration Support migration script validation by reconciling migrated rule counts, configurations, and outputs against source data Design and execute data migration test cases to verify that the new rule engine produces identical blocking behavior to the legacy system across key scenarios Maintain a migration tracker covering mapping status, open data issues, decisions made, and sign-off accountability Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify rule intent where source data is ambiguous or undocumented Required Skills & Experience 7+ years in a Data Analyst or data migration role, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or distribution Strong proficiency in Excel or SQL for data analysis, mapping, and reconciliation work Proven experience delivering source-to-target mapping documentation in a system migration or data conversion context Comfortable interpreting structured configuration data and translating it into functional business logic Organized and methodical able to manage large volumes of mapping records with precision and traceability
