Functional Analyst

Savvee is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Analyst to support our federal client on-site in Norfolk, VA. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and expert in systems integration who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the analysis and development of functional specifications that inform system design and improve operational effectiveness. Your work will help shape critical information and process flows, enhance performance metrics, and support the success of complex implementation efforts. One must already hold an active Secret clearance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Preparing and analyzing functional specifications to determine information and process flows. Developing process logic and evaluating performance measures in support of complex implementation efforts. Performing functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifying resources required for each task. Collaborating with engineers on matters of systems integration. Integrating functional elements and ensuring they work together in support of major systems. Understanding and addressing specialized functional requirements and mission or program goals. Providing advice and guidance with respect to the analysis and evaluation of complex customer processes and requirements. Interpreting reports, specifications, and drawings to better understand and analyze processes and requirements. Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client. Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting, or related disciplines OR Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting, or related disciplines PLUS 46 years general experience

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Four or more years of directly related work experience Must have an active Secret clearance Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills A highly motivated selfstarter Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
