Job Description

The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support staffing for the Marine Corps Cyber Operations Group (MCCOG) Advanced Cybersecurity Support Services (ACSS) contract. This position is on-site at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA, and is expected to become available in May 2026.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage configuration items (CIs), including attributes and relationships, within the
CMDB/CMS
Support development and implementation of SACM processes, standards, and procedures Define CI types, naming conventions, attributes, and relationships Perform configuration audits and reconcile
CMDB/CMS
data with physical assets; initiate corrective actions via change control Ensure compliance with configuration management standards across lifecycle, environments, documentation, baselines, and releases Support CI registration, access controls, and role-based permissions Coordinate with Configuration Librarian on
CMDB/CMS
population and maintenance Conduct impact analysis using
CMDB/CMS
data for incidents and faults Build and maintain system baselines and configuration libraries Maintain configuration status accounting records and reporting Support SACM Process Manager and CI Owners in configuration identification and reporting activities Train staff on SACM principles and best practices in coordination with
SACM Service Asset Analyst Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience, pending approval. 1+ year of experience with DoD logistics or asset management systems (e.g., Remedy, DPAS, GCSS-MC) ITIL v3 Foundation certification Active Secret clearance required for consideration; TS with SCI eligibility strongly preferred #mccog If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. Pay Range:
