Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Configuration Manager to work in Quantico, VA (partial remote). This position is contingent upon additional funding.
Description:
This role will provide configuration support and documentation to create a healthy security posture implementing Comply-to-Connect for our delivered Managed Service supporting the US Marine CorpsProvide configuration management (CM) for information system software, hardware, and firmware; and assess the security impact of those changes.

Work closely with the Government customer supporting daily activities and weekly Program meetings with stakeholdersUse approved templates for communications and training materials.

Review completed work of other contractor personnel for accuracy of data and information, procedure and guidance compliance, and error-free documentation prior to submission to GovernmentContinually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction; develop long-lasting client relationshipsWork well in a team-oriented environment and be able to self-manage their tasks to ensure success.

Communicate up and down within the organization; prepare detailed descriptions of issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports. Applicants must be organized with an eye for detail.

Minimum Secret clearance is required prior to start date.

Must be US Citizen6+ yrs. experience working in a DOD environment (Contractor/Civilian/Military), preferably USMCExperience developing and maintaining configuration management system tools, scripts, procedures, and documentationStrong interpersonal and communications skillsExpert level expertise in configuration management process and techniques with experience establishing and implementing a configuration management planExpert level expertise with identification of controlled artifacts (configuration items) and implementation of standard CM control processesExperience with projects across development lifecycles (analysis through implementation)Ability to multi‐task and effectively prioritize competing requirementsDemonstrated experience providing technical/subject matter expertise; and in planning, organizing, executing, and controlling project tasks resulting in successful delivery of professional servicesExperience developing and maintaining configuration management system tools, scripts, procedures, and documentationMust be proficient with desktop programs such as MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePointMust possess a high attention to detailGood oral and written communications skills.
