Job Description

Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) Analyst to support verification and validation efforts across complex electrical power systems. This role focuses on ensuring systems are operating as designed by analyzing electrical loads and confirming overall system functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical power systems, experience working in Excel (with exposure to VBA), and the ability to understand system architecture at a high level. This individual will also support certification efforts tied to BPM 15.5, including learning and contributing to ATC → STC processes for programs such as KC-46. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer or analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, data analysis, and system verification.
  •  Support Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) activities to verify electrical power systems are functioning as intended
  •  Analyze electrical load data to confirm system capacity, performance, and compliance with design requirements
  •  Build, modify, and maintain Excel-based tools, including macros and VBA scripts, to streamline analysis and reporting
  •  Develop repeatable workflows and documentation processes for system validation efforts
  •  Partner with engineering teams to understand and interpret high-level electrical system architecture
  •  Assist with certification efforts, including supporting
BPM 15.5
processes and ATC → STC transitions

  •  Electrical Engineering Degree
  •  2-3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and modeling
  •  Exposure to or experience with VBA and macro development
  •  2-3 years of experience working with Electrical Power Systems or related engineering environments
  •  High-level understanding of electrical system architecture (generation, distribution, and load)
  •  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
  •  Experience with or exposure to BPM 15.

  •  Familiarity with certification processes, especially ATC → STC transitions (KC-46 or similar programs)
  •  Experience supporting system verification, validation, or testing efforts
  •  Background in aerospace, utilities, or other complex engineering environments
  •  Experience using Excel to create automated workflows or efficiency improvements
