IT Intern, Operations

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. What's the Short Version? The IT Operations Intern is responsible for assisting an Information Technology team during an 8 week program. What Will You Be Doing? Assist in designing, developing, and implementing enhancements or reports according to customer requests and team guidelines. Conduct a variety of administrative tasks for the assigned IT team or other IT teams as assigned. Job shadow various members of the department and assist them as needed. Prepare correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials as needed. Participate in data entry, troubleshooting, documentation, and inventory management activities. May perform or support special projects. Participate in intern cohort activities including: professional development workshops, warehouse tours, and meetings with leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree in an Information Technology discipline Familiarity with administration and use of Freshservice or similar ticketing system Familiarity with troubleshooting and using computers, software and operating systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior internship experience or personal projects demonstrating technology skills is a plus Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. What's Our Offer?

Pay:

You`ll earn $25.00 on an hourly basis.

Paid Time Off:

You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked. What Should You Expect?

Office:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Work environment is moderately quiet. Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required. Why Work at SanMar?
