Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE A
system analyst performs system build and integrated testing. Provides technical support through ongoing maintenance, development, implementation and documentation of features/enhancements of Epic or other hospital software. Collaborates with operational departments to design appropriate workflows for system capabilities. Functions as the subject matter expert and provides end user support. SITE(S) Froedtert Kenosha Center Froedtert Pleasant Prairie HospitalMINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Associate Degree in: Computer Science or two (2) years progressive work experience in the IT field preferredMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2
to 3 years preferredLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum of an associate degree in computer science or two (2) years progressive work experience in the IT field, or two (2) years of healthcare experienceSUPERVISES N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English in order to establish a working relationship with end users and interpret manuals. Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; Internet At least one (1) year of work experience in hospital department, preferably clinical department. At least one (1) year of work experience that demonstrates the ability to organize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated written and oral communication skills Ability to organize, analyze, problem-solve, and educate Ability to learn various software applicationPRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performs system build and integrated testing as appropriate. Collaborates with operational departments and end users to design appropriate workflows for system capabilities. Communicates and documents all changes made to the software/system. Troubleshoots system problems for the end user. Functions as subject matter expert for area of concentration in Epic or other hospital software. Provide system security and access as appropriate.
