IT Consultant Robert Half - 3.9 Irvine, CA Job Details Temporary | Contract $37.33 an hour 5 days ago Benefits Disability insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship management IT Escalation handling Full Job Description We are hiring for an IT Consultant to own high‑visibility Infrastructure and End User Computing (EUC) escalations and serve as the primary liaison between delivery partners, executives, and business stakeholders. This role provides decision‑ready clarity to leadership, enforces vendor accountability, and ensures risks are clearly understood and actively managed. This is not a hands‑on delivery role, but a strategic leadership and escalation ownership position.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage high‑impact, executive‑visible escalations across Infrastructure and EUC domains. Hold strategic vendors, including Capgemini, accountable for delivery outcomes, commitments, and risk mitigation actions. Act as the primary onshore liaison for executives and business leaders, ensuring clear alignment and communication. Translate complex technical issues into business impact, risk posture, and actionable decision options. Deliver concise, leadership‑ready escalation updates, recommendations, and executive communication. Executive engagement and leadership‑level communications. Direct ownership of critical delivery risks and escalations.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, EUC, or large‑scale enterprise IT environments. Demonstrated success managing executive‑level escalations in complex, multi‑vendor environments. Strong experience in vendor governance, performance management, and holding partners accountable for outcomes. Proven ability to operate with authority and influence without direct line management or control. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present clearly to senior executives and business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior consulting or advisory leadership experience in enterprise IT environments. Experience supporting global or highly regulated organizations. Background working with outsourced delivery models and strategic systems integrators. Ability to assess risk quickly and provide clear, defensible recommendations under pressure. Strong executive presence with the ability to navigate ambiguity and high‑stakes situations.
