IT Application Analyst - Full Time Days

Application Analyst Valley Presbyterian Hospital Support Healthcare Technology & Drive System Optimization At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Information Systems team plays a critical role in supporting the technology that powers patient care and hospital operations. We're seeking a skilled Application Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance clinical and business applications across the organization. What You'll Do Support and maintain healthcare information systems and clinical applications Research, analyze, and recommend software and system solutions to meet business needs Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and system functionality Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization efforts Manage and prioritize support requests through the IT help desk ticketing system Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve workflows Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials Monitor system performance, logs, and scheduled processes Assist with interface integrations and application support initiatives Support education and training efforts related to new systems and upgrades What You Bring 2-4 years of experience supporting healthcare information systems in a hospital environment Experience supporting MEDITECH or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of SQL, HL7, FHIR, or interface integrations preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days Why VPH Mission-driven healthcare organization Opportunity to support technology that directly impacts patient care Collaborative and innovative IT environment Growth opportunities within healthcare information systems Apply today to help advance healthcare technology and operational excellence at VPH.
