ABOUT THE POSITION
The IT Asset Management Analyst plays a key role in ensuring Court technology resources are properly tracked, maintained, and utilized throughout their full lifecycle. This position supports the organization by managing hardware and software inventories, coordinating procurement and deployment activities, and maintaining accurate records that meet Court policies and compliance requirements. The role also monitors software licensing and telecommunications services to help identify risks, prevent over-spending, and support cost-effective operations. Working closely with internal staff and vendors, the Analyst helps ensure timely order fulfillment, proper equipment tagging, and clear documentation for audits and disposal actions. The position also develops spreadsheets and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making and resource planning. This is a detail-focused role that strengthens the Court's ability to manage technology assets responsibly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Lifecycle Management - Administers the full lifecycle of Court technology assets, including procurement intake, deployment tracking, scheduled maintenance coordination, and disposition/disposal documentation in compliance with Court policies and applicable regulations. Inventory Control & Auditing - Maintains accurate, up-to-date inventory records for all hardware and software assets across Court locations; conducts periodic physical and system-based audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure data integrity. Software License Compliance - Monitors software license entitlements and utilization across the organization; identifies over-deployment or under-utilization risks and supports compliance with vendor agreements and Court licensing policies. Telecommunications & Mobility Management - Coordinates wireless device provisioning and service agreements; reviews and reconciles monthly carrier billings; identifies billing anomalies and cost-saving opportunities. Procurement, Order Fulfillment & Vendor Coordination - Assists in the preparation of technology purchase requests and contract documentation; tracks order fulfillment status through service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) from request intake through receipt and deployment; manages and updates associated tasks and workflows to ensure timely processing and proper tagging of incoming equipment. Reporting & Data Analysis - Develops and maintains spreadsheets and related tools (Microsoft Excel or equivalent) to support asset tracking, cost-benefit analyses, and management reporting; produces clear, concise documentation for audits, disposal actions, and service agreement evaluations. This position may be eligible for full, or partial telework following an initial training period and contingent upon the needs of the Court. SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the final filing date of this bulletin: OPTION I
5+ years' experience in resource asset management, preferably involving information systems equipment. OPTION II
Associate's degree• from an accredited college; -AND- 3+ years' experience in resource asset management, preferably involving information systems equipment. OPTION III
Bachelor's degree• from an accredited four-year college or university; -AND- 1+ years' experience in resource asset management, preferably involving information systems equipment. Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a pro rate basis (e.g., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience). Overtime does not count toward additional credit. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Asset Coordination — Experience supporting large-scale or multi-location inventory efforts, including organizing audits or reconciling asset records. Procurement & Vendor Liaison Experience — Background coordinating with vendors on quotes, order status, delivery issues, or service agreements. Financial or Billing Review Skills — Experience reviewing invoices, identifying discrepancies, or supporting cost-control efforts. Intermediate Spreadsheet Skills — Ability to use Excel functions (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, lookups) to organize and analyze asset or cost data. Process & Workflow Improvement — Experience helping refine procedures, streamline tracking steps, or improve documentation accuracy. Audit Preparation & Compliance Support — Familiarity assisting with audit readiness, record verification, or compliance documentation.
