IT Portfolio Analyst 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Los Angeles, CA 90040 $31 - $64 an hour Horizontal Talent 41 reviews $31 - $64 an hour Join our dynamic technology team as an IT Portfolio Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our enterprise IT projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic planning and governance in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee the intake and validation of new IT project requests, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Maintain and update the IT project portfolio, tracking status, milestones, and dependencies. Analyze resource allocation and delivery data to identify potential risks and optimize project execution. Develop executive dashboards and reports to support governance reviews and strategic decisions. Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate project updates and governance decisions effectively. Support continuous improvement initiatives within IT demand management and PMO operations. Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 3-7 years of experience in IT PMO, portfolio management, or governance-related roles. Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in developing executive-level reports and presentations. Preferred Skills Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Advanced Excel. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Certifications like PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
