Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. We are seeking a Technical Accounting Consultant to provide expertise on complex accounting matters, financial reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives. This role will partner with leadership to evaluate accounting treatments and support strategic business transactions. Responsibilities Research and document technical accounting issues Analyze accounting implications of complex transactions Prepare accounting memoranda and supporting documentation Support financial reporting and disclosure requirements Assist with adoption of new accounting standards Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders Provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA required or strongly preferred 7+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting preferred Experience with technical accounting research and documentation Excellent communication and presentation skills #GHJSS #LI-LM1 We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
