- Come join Intuit as a Staff Technical Data Analyst for Finance!
- Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across FP&A to understand their analytics needs and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Collect and analyze data from diverse sources (databases, spreadsheets, external sources).
- Develop and maintain data models and algorithms.
- Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement data collection systems to optimize data quality and effi ciency.
- Provide recommendations to improve data collection and analysis processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and tools.
- Build subject matter expertise and finance acumen.
- Narrate complex data stories concisely, highlighting insights and their impact on business outcomes for leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a data analytics role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative fi eld, or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced data visualization tools (
- Qliksense is preferred or similar tools
- ), SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning. Experience with Databricks and data integration.
- Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena); knowledge of Python, Javascript, is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with colleagues across the business with varying technical expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for creating effi cient, maintainable, and scalable data solutions.
- Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for business enhancement.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
