The IT Data Analyst supports the implementation of a new ERP across the Smurfit Westrock's North American Consumer Converting business by managing data activities related to system configuration, migration, and ongoing data governance. This role ensures accurate, timely, and controlled handling of critical operational and financial data. The analyst will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, validate business rules, and maintain data quality and standardization. How you will impactSmurfit WestRock:
Supports enterprise data initiatives by coordinating and executing data migration and system configuration activities. Ensures accurate and timely migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms while maintaining data governance, compliance, and standardization. Collaborates with cross‑functional business and technical teams to gather data requirements, perform business validation, and support successful cutover activities. Supports configuration and data standardization across regions and business units. Provides documentation, checklists, and ongoing analytical support for data‑related operational processes.What you need to succeed:
3-5 years of IT and/or business-related analyst/data experience Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.` Strong process and analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to listen to and understand needs across diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization Must be able to accurately manipulate large amounts of data, which may require lengthy periods of concentration, a high level of attention to detail, and superior organization and accuracy Must be able to manage shifting priorities on multiple projects while maintaining quality of work product Must be able to function effectively with a large degree of independence Strong knowledge and use of business analyst practices and processes Ability to travel to other plants (approx. 10% - 30% of the time). Flexibility to support weekend cutovers when required.Preferred:
