- Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Software Packaging & Deployment Engineer to lead enterprise application packaging, testing, and deployment across Windows and macOS environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in application packaging, software distribution, and endpoint management using Intune, SCCM, and Jamf Pro, ensuring secure and seamless software delivery across the organization. Key Responsibilities Package, test, and deploy Windows and macOS applications using industry-standard packaging tools. Manage software deployment and lifecycle through Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Jamf Pro. Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues and provide L3 support. Create and maintain installation, upgrade, and rollback procedures. Automate software deployment processes and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with application owners, security teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful software releases. Maintain packaging standards, documentation, and compliance requirements. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in Application Packaging and Software Deployment. Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM (MECM), and Jamf Pro. Hands-on expertise with packaging tools such as Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield, Ivanti, and VMware ThinApp. Knowledge of MSI, MSIX, App-V, and macOS package creation. Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or scripting for deployment automation. Strong troubleshooting and software lifecycle management skills. Nice to Have Experience with Windows 11 and macOS enterprise deployments. Knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID and endpoint security solutions. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for application delivery. ITIL process knowledge and change management experience. Relevant Microsoft, Jamf, or Flexera certifications.
