What You Will Be Doing:
As the IT Functional Analyst - Supply Chain this role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business processes and technology solutions, ensuring our supply chain systems and processes follow industry best practices, and supporting Yancey's broader Dynamics 365 implementation. This role serves as the functional lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Manufacturing and Warehouse Management, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and IT to design, implement, and continuously improve production and warehouse processes. The analyst will act as the subject matter expert for configuration of production execution, material planning, inventory control, and advanced warehouse operations within D365.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support functional design and configuration for
Manufacturing:
Bills of Materials (BOMs), routes, and production orders MRP, master planning parameters, and demand-driven replenishment Production reporting (picking lists, route cards, RAF, and cost postings) Partner with Engineering and Operations to translate manufacturing processes into scalable D365 solutions Support production close, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation Support configuration of D365 Advanced WMS, including: Warehouse layouts, locations, and inventory dimensions Work templates, location directives, and wave processing Mobile device menus, user roles, and RF workflows Ensure manufacturing and warehouse processes align with internal control, audit, and segregation-of-duties requirements. Monitor process adherence post go-live and recommend corrective actions. Document business requirements, configure and execute test scenarios in sandbox, and deploy changes to production following SDLC control process. Participate in the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of supply chain projects, including system configuration, data migration, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities. Develop user documentation and deliver training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems. Act as a liaison between business users and IT, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor post-implementation performance, gather feedback, and propose enhancements to maximize the value of Dynamics 365 investments in the supply chain space.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you must be highly organized, have proven experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst, and a working understanding of finance practices and processes. You should be familiar with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain, and hands-on involvement in prior implementation is heavily preferred. The ability to both take direction and work with minimal supervision is required for this position as well.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Required:
Hands-on functional experience with D365 Manufacturing and/or Warehouse Management Proven experience supporting production and warehouse processes in an ERP environment Ability to translate shop-floor and warehouse operations into system design and configuration Strong understanding of inventory, production, and material flow concepts Power BI or data analysis experience in a manufacturing or supply chain context
Preferred:
Experience supporting high-volume or complex manufacturing environments Experience with D365 Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) Prior participation in a D365 Manufacturing or WMS implementation or major rollout Experience supporting integrations (MES, barcode scanning, reporting, etc.)
