IT SECURITY DATA OPERATIONS ANALYST CORPORATE IT SECURITY FIRSTBANK PR

A Brief Overview Responsible for executing critical activities for the Corporate Security Office (CSO), focused on data integrity, tools administration, regulatory compliance, and analytical support for corporate security operations. What you'll do Perform monthly Configuration Management Database (CMDB) completeness & accuracy reconciliations across all Configuration Items (CI) types (Servers, Network Devices, Workstations, Databases, Business/IT Apps). Maintain the CMDB normalization dictionary and correct attribute inconsistencies. Validate mandatory CI attributes based on corporate standards. Identify and remediate stale, duplicate, incomplete, or non compliant CI. Reconcile CIs against primary authoritative sources and / or manual audits. Support EOL/EOS lifecycle data maintenance for Obsolescence Management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc CMDB Health Check reports required for security governance. Work with internal areas, providers, and app owners to resolve reconciliation gaps. Maintain evidence logs, scripts, and documentation for regulatory audits. Assist CSO and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in risk acceptance data preparation, ensuring residual risk metrics reflect correct CI attributes. Prepare and automate operational reports, dashboards, and regulatory deliverables. Propose improvements based on data trends, quality analysis, and operational efficiency. What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Information systems, Computer Science, or related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in data analysis, technology operations, or security-related functions. Competencies Strong written and verbal communication for reports, presentations, in Spanish and English. Knowledge with Configuration Management principles (CI Classes, CI Attributes, relationships, lifecycle) Advanced Excel automation, Power Query, or scripting to process large datasets Experience with CMDB platforms (HPSM and/or ServiceNow) AI prompting for documentation, reporting, automation, and data analysis Understanding of ITIL Configuration Management Knowledge of EOL/EOS lifecycle management Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate resources effectively. Knowledge of corporate technological tools and control processes. Ability to use Microsoft Office tools, banking software, data security protocols, and digital platforms. Knowledge of laws, regulatory compliance and other financial regulations.
