The Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services has a vacancy. This job title has an assigned pay grade of TS-317. This position is located in the Product Delivery Section. Req. 220198 Interested in furthering your career through functionally directing and performing UAT Coordination across multiple IT projects? The Office of Technology Services (OTS), Product Delivery Section is looking for an energetic leader to guide and oversee User Acceptance Testing of software development projects by various business users. This position is an expert level UAT Coordinator position responsible for working with cross functional teams made up of OTS and Executive Branch Department team members on mission critical projects and initiatives. The Senior UAT Coordinator leads the planning, governance, and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across mission critical projects and initiatives. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring that solutions meet business objectives prior to production release. The Senior UAT Coordinator serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, providing oversight, risk management, and continuous improvement of UAT practices. The Division of Administration is the state government's management arm and the hub of its financial operations. Division offices perform a wide variety of activities including the following: Overseeing the state's capital construction program Working to provide state and federal grants for community development Development of the state budget Providing technology services Giving agencies guidance in the state purchasing and contracting process as they seek goods and services Administering a program that provides federal funds to help Louisiana residents recover from a series of devastating hurricanes Seven years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR An associate's degree in information technology plus five years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field plus four years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR A master's degree plus four years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. NOTE:
A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion, provided the appointment is made from a Certificate of Eligibles. -Lead and perform expert-level end-to-end UAT planning and execution for mission critical projects or initiatives through collaboration with agency administrators, program managers, subject matter experts, developers, and other analysts. Functionally oversee and direct a team of analysts performing various levels of end-to-end UAT planning and execution to support mission critical projects or initiatives including assigning and reviewing the team's work. -Lead, guide, and mentor other Analysts in UAT planning and execution at all levels in support of modernization projects and initiatives: this includes guiding others towards the best way to develop quality test scenarios and scripts to ensure proper testing of business logic. Oversee, review, and audit the UAT planning and execution of other Analysts. Provide expertise and consultation services in the area of UAT planning and execution for OTS and Executive Branch partner agencies. Lead the OTS UAT Planning Center of Excellence through key contributions and shared governance in the development of best practices, research, support, and training in the discipline of UAT Planning and Coordination. Research, build, and maintain UAT Planning and Coordination best practice documents, procedures, and guidelines as a part of the UAT Planning Center of Excellence. Continually foster relationships both within and across organizational sections and agencies of State Government promoting adoption of the UAT Planning Center of Excellence. -Create and deliver expert-level overview and/or detailed documentation concerning defects of mission critical projects or initiatives ensuring traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects to support decision-making, audit, and compliance needs. -Perform all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.
