Senior Consultant Boston, MA Apply M&A IT Senior Consultant Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. The team works closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact. As a Senior Consultant within M&A IT, you will support clients through technology integration and divestiture activities that drive transition readiness and long-term value. This role sits within Deloitte's M&A Offering and focuses on helping organizations respond to transaction opportunities, execute IT separation or integration priorities, and accelerate transformation. Work You'll Do As a Senior Consultant in M&A IT, as part of the M&A Integration & Divestiture (I&D) team, you will be responsible for:- Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through IT integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution.
- Assessing applications, infrastructure, data, and IT operating models to identify Day 1, transitional, and end-state requirements.
- Developing workplans, tracking milestones, coordinating dependencies across workstreams, and identifying changes in scope or risks.
- Building business cases, financial analyses, and client-ready deliverables to support IT synergy, cost reduction, migration, and rationalization decisions.
- Working with managers and cross-functional teams to validate outputs, communicate recommendations, and deliver work aligned to client needs and engagement objectives. Recruiting will end on 7/31/2026. A successful candidate would possess these skills:

Qualifications:
Required:
- 4+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration and divestiture or M&A integration and divestiture service delivery within the information technology function.
- 4+ years of experience in one information technology domain.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years consulting or industry experience; alternatively, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and 2+ years of consulting or industry experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a professional services consulting firm.
- Experience with cloud migration or cloud stand-up activities.
- Experience leading workstreams or small teams on larger projects.
- Experience developing presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint and process flows in Microsoft Visio.
- Experience supporting communications, culture, or change management activities.
- Advanced degree.
