Job Description

At the core of everything is data, which is the lifeblood of our business and our products. We are currently seeking a Technical Analyst to join our Product Management - Data Solutions team. As the Technical Analyst, you will build subject matter expertise across multiple business domains and be hands-on with data for insights and reporting to help make data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for engaging with a variety of important cross functional stakeholders to understand their business processes, problems and needs and translate them into functional requirements for the technical teams and advise on technical solutions. Duties and Responsibilities:
Interview cross functional teams to gather information related to the business Provide data analysis, reporting, and data extracts using tools such as SQL, Sigma, Power BI, and Excel Analyze information to define business problems, user stories, and use cases; identify potential change impacts Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data Partner with subject matter experts to validate associated system requirements and solutions Plan, design, and recommend business processes to improve and support business activities Participate in proof of concept and pilot activities Develop, standardize, maintain requirements/specifications for new functionality to evaluate newly released features Engage in early tests and validation iterations with stakeholders prior to go-live Support ongoing user feedback process and review of user support issues Partner with Product Manager and Product Owners in evaluating feedback for prioritization in future roadmap/release plans Document data definitions, assumptions, and transformations; maintain an organized repository of requirements, process flows, and decision logsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field 0-2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field; internship experience considered Must be customer-centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technological relationships; focus on business problems and driving solutions Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities Organized, very detailed oriented and deliberate note taker Strong desire to learn Concise, constructive and collaborative communication style Experienced with data (collection, consumption, and analysis), software development and technology Understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products and up to date on industry standards and best practices Proficient with SQL Ability to travel for business purposes when requiredPreferred Qualifications:
Project management or organization experience Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), process diagram tools, and/or WMS applications is a plus Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Sigma, or similar) Why Lineage?
