Workday Absence Techno-Functional Consultant Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Absence Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Absence Management, Time Tracking, and HCM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring Workday solutions, developing integrations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead configuration and maintenance of Workday Absence Management and Time Tracking modules. Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions. Configure absence plans, leave policies, accruals, eligibility rules, and business processes. Develop and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Web Services. Create and maintain calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and security configurations. Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to ensure seamless system functionality. Perform testing activities including unit testing, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support for Workday Absence-related processes. Participate in Workday releases and recommend process improvements and new features. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations.
Required Skills:
5+ years of Workday HCM experience with a strong focus on Absence Management. Hands-on experience configuring absence plans, leave types, accruals, and eligibility rules. Strong techno-functional expertise in Workday HCM, Time Tracking, and Security. Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs, Web Services). Advanced reporting and calculated field development experience. Strong understanding of business processes, data conversion, and system testing. Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
