Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance our Workday platform across Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking. This role involves hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and partnering with HR stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. The core focus will be to find someone who has expertise in Talent Optimization (Performance Planning, goal setting, etc.) and Learning modules of Workday. This is a functional role so source accordingly. Note that the person must have done multiple implementations of Workday Core HR and at least 2-3 implementations of Talent Optimization and Learning modules Key Responsibilities Configure and optimize Talent Optimization, Learning, Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking modules in Workday. Design and maintain Supervisory Organizations, Position Management, and related staffing models.
Manage Workday Security:
create and maintain Security Groups, Domain Policies, and ensure compliance with role-based access controls. Configure Business Processes, Eligibility Rules, and Calculated Fields. Build advanced Workday Reports, dashboards, and support data loads via EIB. Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Benefits teams to align system functionality with business needs. Support annual compensation cycles, recruiting workflows, benefits enrollment, and absence/time tracking processes. Conduct testing (unit, SIT, UAT) and manage release updates. Provide functional expertise and resolve issues promptly. Partner with technical teams for integration and ensure seamless data flow between Workday and downstream applications and third-party vendors. Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of Workday HCM functional experience with strong expertise in Talent Optimization, Learning, Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking. Deep understanding of Supervisory Organizations and Workday Security configuration. Hands-on experience with configuration, reporting, and data management. Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Workday certifications in Talent Optimization, Learning, HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, or Time Tracking. Experience with integration and advanced reporting (BIRT, Prism Analytics). Exposure to global HR environments and payroll integrations.
