Job Description

Job Summary The Senior IT Security Analyst is responsible for engineering and administration of IT Security systems as well as monitoring system and network logs to identify threats, misconfigurations and anomalies and assist with any necessary remediation. This role is responsible for working with the business and across all IT functions to help protect company data and reduce overall risk exposure. Duties and Responsibilities Supports operational implementation requirements ensuring compliance with information security policy, standards, guidelines. Reports any threats, misconfigurations or anomalies and assists with remediation. Utilizes new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities and implement improvements. Develops automated processes to improve efficiency and detection using existing and open-source tools. Ensures timely reporting and remediation of discovered security issues. Works with others to help remediate security incidents. Conducts frequent testing of simulated cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities and subsequently remediate vulnerabilities. Keeps up with evolving risks, new developments in the security industry and industry best practices. Supports the development of Analysts and Associate Analysts by sharing knowledge and providing guidance. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Competencies Instills trust

Required Qualifications High School Diploma (or GED) Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working in an IT Security or related role Strong understanding of security threats and incident response. An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. Experience with XSOAR Automation or equivalent tool OT Security experience Scripting/coding experience Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
